What is Artinci?

Artinci is an Indian artisanal sweets and snacks brand founded by Aarti and Sumit Rastogi in Bengaluru. We make traditional Indian sweets (mithai) and baked goods — without sugar. Our products are sweetened with our proprietary SweetSmart™ blend of monk fruit, erythritol, and stevia, which has a glycemic index (GI) below 5. Artinci was featured on Shark Tank India Season 3 and has served over 1 lakh customers across India.

Who founded Artinci?

Artinci was co-founded by Aarti Laxman Rastogi and Sumit Rastogi. Aarti is a metabolic health coach, endurance athlete, Hyrox competitor, and author of Smarter Sweetness: How to Make Your Life Sweeter Without Sugar. The brand was born from her personal mission to make India's beloved traditional sweets safe and enjoyable for people managing diabetes, insulin resistance, or a low-sugar lifestyle.

Was Artinci on Shark Tank India?

Yes. Artinci appeared on Shark Tank India Season 3 and received investment from Vineeta Singh, co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics. The feature accelerated our growth and validated our mission of making sugar-free sweets that actually taste like the real thing.

Why are Artinci products more expensive than regular mithai?

Our sweeteners — monk fruit extract, erythritol, and stevia — cost significantly more than sugar. We also use high-quality ingredients like pure desi ghee (no hydrogenated oils), real cashews, and gram flour. Unlike mass-produced mithai, each batch is made with care and precision to maintain taste, texture, and nutritional integrity. You are paying for food that actually keeps your blood sugar safe — something regular mithai cannot do.

What is SweetSmart™?

SweetSmart™ is Artinci's proprietary sweetener blend made from monk fruit extract, erythritol, and stevia. It has a glycemic index (GI) of less than 5 — meaning it causes virtually no blood sugar spike. It has been tested and certified by CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute), one of India's premier food science laboratories. SweetSmart is patent-pending and contains no maltitol, no artificial sweeteners, and leaves no bitter aftertaste.

Do Artinci products contain maltitol?

No. We explicitly do not use maltitol. Maltitol is a sugar alcohol that can significantly raise blood sugar and is commonly used in many mass-market "sugar-free" sweets and chocolates. We use only erythritol, monk fruit, and stevia — all of which have a negligible effect on blood sugar.

What products does Artinci sell?

We sell traditional Indian mithai and baked goods: Kaju Katli, Motichoor Ladoo, Besan Ladoo, Protein Ladoo, Assorted Ladoo, Mysore Pak, Almond Flour Cake, Marble Cake, Coffee Cake, Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Cake, Almond Cookies, Millet Oats Cookies, Chocolate Brownie, and our SweetSmart™ sweeteners — DrinkSmart™, BakeSmart™, and MithaiSmart™.

Is the CFTRI certification applicable to all products?

The CFTRI certification covers our SweetSmart™ sweetener blend used across our mithai range. Our stevia-based products (BakeSmart™ and MithaiSmart™) carry the CFTRI certification. DrinkSmart™ uses monk fruit and is formulated separately. All products are FSSAI compliant.

Health & Dietary Questions

Are Artinci products safe for diabetics?

Our products are sweetened with SweetSmart™, which has a glycemic index below 5. This means they cause virtually no blood sugar spike. Our Kaju Katli, for example, has been formulated to be safe for people managing Type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance. However, every individual's metabolic response varies — we always recommend checking with your doctor before making any significant dietary change, especially if you are on insulin or medication.

Are Artinci products keto-friendly?

Most of our products are low-carb and keto-compatible. The SweetSmart™ blend contributes near-zero net carbs. Our Almond Flour Cake, Almond Cookies, and Kaju Katli are particularly well-suited for keto diets. Products like Motichoor Ladoo and Besan Ladoo are made with gram flour, which adds some carbohydrates — check the nutritional label for exact net carb counts.

Why don't Artinci products cause the bloating that other sugar-free sweets do?

The digestive discomfort associated with "sugar-free" products is caused by sugar alcohols like sorbitol and maltitol, which ferment in the gut. We use erythritol instead — the gentlest of all sugar alcohols, which is absorbed in the small intestine rather than fermented in the large intestine. At normal serving sizes, erythritol does not cause bloating or loose motions. This is a primary reason we chose it over alternatives.

Are Artinci products FSSAI approved?

Yes. All Artinci products are manufactured in FSSAI-compliant facilities. Our SweetSmart™ sweetener blend has additionally been tested and certified by CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute).

Are Artinci products gluten-free?

Our Kaju Katli, Almond Flour Cake, and Almond Cookies are gluten-free. Products made with gram flour (besan) — such as Motichoor Ladoo and Besan Ladoo — use naturally gluten-free chickpea flour. If you have celiac disease, please check individual product labels for cross-contamination information.

How many pieces / what is the serving size?

Serving sizes vary by product and are printed on each pack. As a general guide, we recommend 2–3 pieces of Kaju Katli or 1–2 Ladoos per serving. Our products are designed to be enjoyed as a treat — not consumed in unlimited quantities, even though they are sugar-free.

Where does Artinci deliver in India?

We deliver across India via artinci.com. We are also available for instant delivery on Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart in select cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and more. Check the respective apps for real-time availability in your area.

How long does delivery take?

For Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart orders: typically 10–30 minutes in serviced areas. For orders placed on artinci.com: 3–5 business days depending on your pin code.

What is your return and refund policy?

Since our products are perishable food items, we do not accept returns. If you receive a damaged, incorrect, or spoiled product, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at customercare@artinci.com with a photograph and we will arrange a replacement or full refund promptly.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships from our website, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS. For quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart), tracking is available directly in the respective apps.

Are Artinci products good for Diwali and festival gifting?

Artinci is one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give — especially for family members managing diabetes, following a keto lifestyle, or being health-conscious. Do you offer bulk or corporate gifting?

Yes. We offer customised bulk gifting for corporates, weddings, and large events. Please write to us at customercare@artinci.com with your requirements — quantity, packaging preference, delivery date, and city — and we will create a proposal for you.

Can I send Artinci as a gift to someone in another city?

Yes. You can place an order on artinci.com and ship it to any delivery address in India. Select the recipient's address at checkout. We recommend ordering 5–7 days ahead to account for transit time and shelf life.
